BirdBrain is a third person platform game set in the wilderness. When an egg falls from a tree and breaks apart, a tiny bird emerges. Players take control of the bird and attempt to climb back to the nest which sits high in the branches above. Primarily engineered for play by children, gameplay will involve conquering insects and avoiding hazards. Action will be presented from a dynamic camera pivoting around the tree's centre. The prototype version of the game will include a single level focusing on the journey to the top of the tree.

BirdBrain represents the assignment for our Team Project module, where a team of 6 programmers and a producer work on creating a game using either the OGRE or Instinct Game Engine. We are still working on BirdBrain but you can read about it on the teams SVN / Wiki Site.
